Ceramic Coatings

System X Ceramic Coatings provide a super slick durable shell – protecting your boat for years to come. This coating bonds to the gelcoat or paint, providing protection from the salt water, UV rays, Extreme temperatures, & pollution, all while providing an unmatched elegant finish.

Wet Sanding

Wetsanding is a specialized technique used to achieve a smooth, oxidation free surface. It involves using wet sandpaper and a constant water source to gently remove imperfections such as scratches or oxidation from the boat’s surface. By gradually sanding the surface in a controlled manner, this helps to restore the shine and remove light scratches and deep oxidation in the gelcoat.
Recommended for boats with heavy oxidation, this package offers a full paint/gel coat restoration, resulting in a perfect, mirror-like shine that often surpasses the original finish.

Compounding

Compound is applied using a rotary or orbital polishing tool and is carefully worked into the gelcoat. The compound’s abrasive particles gently remove oxidation, stains, scratches, swirl marks, and other blemishes from the boat’s surface. This process helps to restore the color, clarity, and glossiness of the gel coat or paint. After compounding, the boat’s surface is typically polished to further refine the finish and enhance its shine.
Designed for boats with light to medium oxidation, this package restores a like-new finish and mirror-like shine.

Waxing / Polishing

The wax/polishing process helps to remove light oxidation, fine scratches, swirl marks, and other minor imperfections that may be present on the boat’s gel coat. waxing/polishing your boat is important because it adds a layer of protection against UV rays, salt water, and other environmental elements. It also helps enhance the boat’s shine and provide a smooth and slick surface, making it easier to clean and maintain, along with providing protection for up to 5+ months if properly taken care of.
Recommended for boats with light oxidation or needing a touch-up to protect against the sun’s powerful UV rays. We use top-of-the-line Collinite materials to ensure your vessel stays protected.

Meticulous Metal Polishing

Using Collinite Metal wax for all of our metal/aluminum polishing provides not only a beautiful shine but also lasting protection against the harsh marine environment. It helps preserve the appearance of your boat’s metal surfaces while reducing the effort and frequency of maintenance tasks.
